Sowmiya has been practicing immigration law since 1998 and has assisted clients in a wide range of complex business and family based immigrant and nonimmigrant matters. As an immigrant to the U.S. herself, Sowmiya takes a personal interest in all the cases that she handles and offers practical advice based on the latest changes and developments in the US immigration law. Over the last thirteen years she has worked extensively with clients in the fields of Information Technology, Medicine, Teaching, Sciences, Religious Arena and Performing Arts. Sowmiya is the founder of Sikal & Associates, LLC. In 1998, she established her law practice, Sikal & Associates (Tennessee) prior to the formation of Sikal & Associates (Georgia). Born in Coimbatore, India, Sowmiya hails from a family of attorneys, where her interest in the field of law was kindled by her father, a successful attorney who was instrumental in guiding Sowmiya in her legal career during her formative years. Sowmiya worked as a legal assistant prior to being admitted to the bar in Tennessee. Sowmiya is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Tennessee.

Sandeep practices all aspects of immigration law with special focus on corporate US immigration. He provides counsel for employers and beneficiaries to successfully negotiate complex rules and regulations involved in filing employment based immigrant and non-immigrant petitions. He strives to provide legal solutions to meet the unique immigration needs of each client.
Sandeep's focus area is employment based immigration including PERM Labor Certification Applications, Immigrant Petitions (Extra-ordinary Ability, Outstanding Researchers), Adjustment of Status Applications (I-485) and AC21 filings. He has wide range of experience in assisting clients in employment based Non-Immigrant petitions (H1B, L1), Naturalization applications, Family based Immigrant Petitions (I-130) and Naturalization/Green Card Interviews.
Sandeep joined Sikal & Associates in 2002 as an Immigration Paralegal and after his admittance to the Bar in 2004 he has continued his U.S. immigration law practice with Sikal & Associates as an Attorney. In addition to his expertise in US Immigration Law, Sandeep has knowledge and experience in various Indian corporate and civil litigation matters.

Ramesh provides counsel on all aspects of corporate U.S. immigration, including nonimmigrant visas, permanent residence, citizenship, compliance, department of labor and consular processing. He has worked extensively both with startup organizations as well as multi-national clients across industries. Ramesh counsels corporate clients in setting up best practices/governance structure to comply with the ever-changing USCIS and Department of Labor laws and regulations.
Ramesh is a founding member of Sikal & Associates. Prior to forming Sikal & Associates (Georgia) he worked as a client liaison at Sikal and Associates (Tennessee) from 2000 to 2007. Before establishing a career in law, he worked as a management consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers. During his time with Coopers & Lybrand and later PricewaterhouseCoopers he consulted with senior management of Fortune 500 companies in aviation, insurance & telecommunication industries. He also was involved in several critical engagements with various state governments.

Tina provides legal advice to clients on issues related to U.S. immigration and naturalization laws, regulations, requirements, and processing procedures. Tina provides advice to corporate clients in regards to courses of action and requirements for potential and existing nonimmigrant employees, Green Card sponsorship, and employer compliance issues as well as individual clients seeking immigration advice regarding current and future family members.
Tina joined Sikal & Associates, LLC in 1999 as an immigration paralegal before pursuing her Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from Georgia State University. For over eight years as an immigration paralegal Tina assisted with nonimmigrant and immigrant, employment and family based case management including client intake, information gathering and database entry, petition preparation, USCIS inquiries, RFE tracking, and case approval notification.
Prior to joining Sikal & Associates, Tina worked as a Tax Professional with H&R Block where she advised clients on tax theory, tax requirements and changes to tax law to assist clients reach optimal outcomes based on their individual financial situation.
